All-State Junior College Basketball, while in Jr. College.

Recipient of an Honorary Life Membership in the Kansas State PTA for the year of 1983-1984. This has special significance as an enduring symbol of unselfish devotion to children and youth.

Developed four three hour graduate video courses, (1) "Violence In Our Schools And Communities" (2) "Diversity And Multiculturalism In Our Schools And Communities" (3) "Strategies To Assist Educators With At-Risk Students" (4) "How To Scoop The Baggage Students Bring To School" - that are being taught throughout the United States and Canada. (1994-1997) Developed seven training videos for educators. (1997)

Recipient of award as one of the twelve people selected by the Kansas City Star who make a difference with people. (1994)

Induction into Butler County Community College Athletic Hall Of Fame, 2005
